Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) provides Breastfeeding workshops as well as in home consultations and support. Our Childbirth Educator provides private workshops right in your home. Grace Jose

Having experienced three very different births of her own (epidural, natural childbirth, and cesarean), and various postpartum experiences (postpartum depression, baby blues), Grace understands the anxiety and confusion that can sometimes be associated with childbirth and becoming new parents. This is why she is so passionate about sharing her knowledge, skill and experience with others during the wonderful, but sometimes overwhelming transitional stage of life. Grace feels that with the proper support and with placenta encapsulation, women have a great chance of having a wonderful postnatal experience.

On her free time Grace volunteers at the Credit Valley Hospital in the Birthing Suites and at Heartland, A Church Connected. She loves to spend time with her family. Grace also loves to play sports and travel. She spends much of her free time supporting her very active family on the volleyball court and Frisbee fields.

Sarah Wetmore

Sarah believes the three most valuable aspects of Mother and Family care are: Up-to-date information, quality time, and continuous loving support. As your Doula, Sarahwill wholeheartedly support you and the decisions you make throughout your pregnancy, labour and postnatal time. She will always make the time to listen and answer your questions and worries. Sarah understands that pregnancy, childbirth and caring for a newborn are life changing events for a family, which is why her support is thorough, patient and well researched. As a trained Thai Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor, her hands are said to be “filled with love”, and she is happy to share her years of experience with you.

Sarah is fluent in English and Spanish. She lives along the waterfront and enjoys spending time with her beautiful family.

Sheridan Daly

Sheridan brings a soothing peace to new families as she calmly assists the new parent with infant care. By drawing on her knowledge and our resources, Sheridan will answer all your questions and concerns regarding maternal recovery and your baby. She is there to help with either bottle or breastfeeding.

Her goal is to help your home run smoothly by taking care of practical needs as you bond with your baby. Making meals, organizing baby and home spaces as well as caring for older children and pets are just a few of the things she can do for you. She enjoys working with older children and is well suited for those having baby number two or three!
